Math practice that knows which mistake your child made.
For ages 6 to 13. When an answer is wrong, Smart Tutor works out which step went wrong, shows how to fix it, and brings the skill back before it is forgotten.

No sign-up. Works offline. No AI talks to your child.
When your child gets one wrong, it says why.
"Wrong, try again" does not help a child who used the wrong method. Smart Tutor knows the common wrong methods children use, so it can name the slip and show how to fix it.
If they are still stuck, help comes in small steps: a hint, then a worked example of a similar question, then the question done together, one step at a time. Your child does each step.
62 − 15 = ?
Your answer 53
In one column you took the top from the bottom. Always take the bottom from the top, and trade a ten when the top is too small.

A practice day
- A short check finds where to start. It takes about three minutes, the first time only, and skips what your child already knows.
- About ten questions a day. Each one is made fresh, at the right level, with pictures to touch: number lines, blocks, fraction bars.
- Skills come back to stay. A skill your child has learned comes back after 1, 3, 7, 21 and 60 days, so it sticks.
It grows up with your child.
The look changes with the school year. A grown-up can change it in settings.

Why not just use an AI chatbot?
Chatbots are good at many things. For a child learning math, we chose something else, on purpose.
It is never confidently wrong.
A chatbot can give a wrong answer and sound sure. Smart Tutor checks every answer with exact math rules. Fractions stay fractions, so 6/8 and 3/4 are always the same.
Your child does the thinking.
In a chat it is easy to ask for the answer. Here, help comes in small steps, and your child fills in each one.
Nothing leaves your device.
No account, no chat logs, no recordings, no ads, no trackers. Names, answers and progress stay in this browser.
It works anywhere.
On an old tablet, in the car, with no internet. Once it has loaded, it keeps working offline.
Where we do use AI
We use AI behind the scenes, while we build Smart Tutor. It helps us write lessons and hints, list the wrong methods children often use, and check our work, so we can cover more of math, faster.
Everything it helps make is then checked by rules. Before a lesson goes out, our test makes about 28,000 practice questions and checks every answer, hint and step.
No AI is inside the app. Nothing AI ever talks to your child, sees their answers, or learns from them. In this day and age, we think children's privacy is worth protecting.
For grown-ups
- See the mistakes your child makes, in plain words, with a tip for each.
- Print practice sheets with an answer key that explains the common wrong answers.
- Add brothers, sisters, or a whole class on one device.
- Save a backup file to move progress to another device.
